Our Mission: To provide support to the parents and children with Down Syndrome who require long-term hospitalization do to heart surgery.  We will provide assistance in the following areas:       Financial assistance to maximize the time parents can spend with their sick child.       Respite for parents living in the hospital with their child, including volunteers to spend time with the child when parents can’t be present.       Personal guidance and support for parents while their child is sick, dying, or recently deceased.       Education for parents on the choices they may have to make as they navigate their child’s illness or death. Gifts of Gabi’s Grace was granted it’s 501(c)(3) status in January of 2011.  We are very grateful to the attorney’s that helped us with this task at Polsinelli and Shughart in Kansas City, MO.
